One day I was perusing Google Books and checked out (in curiosity) what libraries carried my "officially" published books (it has that feature). It's one of the fun things about being an author. I noticed on this last occasion that several libraries from colleges or seminaries that I knew to be conservative evangelical Protestant were carrying one or more of my books.
This was fascinating to me (and an honor), because it means that these libraries think my book is relatively noteworthy in terms of the Catholic theology (and apologetics defending same) that they differ with (or actively oppose in some cases). After all, if we are in the business of compiling books on theology for a library, we want (given a finite budget) the best available ones to represent schools of thought that we ourselves do not adhere to. In light of that consideration, I take it as a very high compliment, that my books are carried in these libraries.
